Basamti Rice is a long grain rice with a high fiber content. Substitute this rice wherever a recipe calls for brown rice...great flavor and aroma.
Place 1 cup of rice and 1.5 cups of water in a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 min. Season as desired and fluff with fork before serving. 1 cup dry yields 2.5-3 cups cooked.
Basmati can be used whenever a long grain White Rice is needed. It's most often used in South Asian cooking. The nutty flavor and firm texture go well with spicy curries and stir fry. A good choice for stews and soups.

Your Brown Basmati Rice is just wonderful. It is easy to prepare and very delicious. My husband loves it, and so do I. Thank you for this product. i will be buying more when we run out.
