Butter powder is pure spray-dried butter, used in many commercial applications. Large bakeries use this to give a shiny, butter glaze to breads and rolls. Bake butter powder into breads and rolls, or sprinkle on top. Adds a nice buttery flavor to poultry, and is particularly nice as a sprinkle for baked potatoes and popcorn.

Have used this for a long time for popcorn. I imagine it would work whenever butter is needed, but my family loves the taste it gives fresh popcorn!

I used this product for testing dehydrated soup mixes when writing the Pantry Stuffers Soup Mixes Using Dehydrated Products. The concensus of all of our tasters was the butter flavor was rich and delicious!!!
