Use crushed hot peppers to add heat, color and flavor to many dishes, including soups, dressings and marinades. Crushed Jalapenos also rehydrate well for use in salsa. Our regular crushed red pepper is like the peppers served in Italian restaurants. The crushed Jalapeno is medium hot to hot, with a relative heat rating of approximately 50,000 hot units. Handle all chile peppers with caution.

Great on Pizza

This is the red pepper in the shakers at pizza places. Not too hot but can add a zing to anything that needs it.
