Dried Red and Green Bell Peppers are a great substitute for fresh vegetables. Dried Green and Red Bell Peppers when hydrated are great for sauteing, adding to fresh salsa or salads. Use dehydrated bell peppers in soups and stews, or rehydrate and use as fresh. To rehydrate, soak in warm water for 30 minutes. Dried Bell Peppers will double in size once hydrated.

I use these all the time to flavor rice or potatoes. They are hard to find locally so I order them from Spices regularly.
Wonderful! Better than Fresh
By: Barbara Bennett - Richmond, VA May 6, 2012
This dried mix holds up better in long cooking dishes than fresh diced peppers which tend to fade in color and disappear. Love these for color and mild taste in rice dishes, soups, stews, sauces and meatloaf. Perfect size dice, great color. Best ever!

I enjoy the products for their taste and convenience. I like that if I forgot to buy this product fresh, i still have this product in the dried version. Very convenient.
