Cloves are the unopened flower bud of a tree native to Southeast Asia. Cloves are one of the strongest spices and should be used with discretion to avoid overpowering other flavors. Cloves are popular in many sweet dishes and desserts, as well as in some sauces, apple dishes, pickles and with ham. Whole cloves are also used in crafts and pomanders.

I could smell the wonderful fragrance of this spice before I even opened the box. Cloves are not only loaded with nutrients, but add wonderful flavor to baked goods. Just in time for fall baking.

I recieved my cloves and when opened the whole package had that wonderful odor of freshly ground cloves. I used in my favorite spice recipe along with the cinnamon. A little seasoning went a long way. Great flavor from excellent spices.
No better smell!

These cloves are the freshest, and most pungent I have ever used. I keep my own mix of sweetener and cinnamon, cloves, & nutmeg (all from Spices, etc) in my cabinet at all times, for use in spiced cider, apple crisp and pie, and pumpkin pie. like nutmeg and cinnamon and try something new!
