Ground Turmeric is used commercially to color mustards, butter and cheese. Ground Turmerics culinary uses are best know in the East, particularly India and China. Ground Turmeric is used as a natural yellow coloring for soups and sauces, in rice dishes, and curry. Makes a nice garnish for light colored sauces.

Love the bright color and peppy flavor of this Turmeric. Use it daily in many different dishes to add flavor and color.

Turmeric is great to have on hand for sprinkling on egg dishes or to use in curry powder. It is said to have healing properties.
