Crush whole mulling spices in a mortar & pestle, then use a muslin bag or tea ball to simmer in cider, wine or tea. Makes a great Holiday drink. Ingredients: cloves, cinnamon sticks, allspice, ginger pieces, star anise.

I have used these mulling spices for years. Mix into a saucepot app. one cup water and one cup apple juice and sprinkle in a handful of spices. Simmer on stovetop all day. Lovely!

Every flavor you could possibly need is in this complete mixture. Makes a great tasting mulled cider. I used 4 (plus a little) tablespoons for a gallon of fresh cider in a crock pot and it was a hit this Thanksgiving. I woud recomend this product to everyone.
