One of the most popular seasonings available, onion is used in almost every type of dish. Dehydrated onion is useful for flavoring soups, sauces, meats and vegetables or for herb breads. Use granulated free-flowing (or powdered extra-fine) onion for instant flavor, or use minced onion in slow-cooking soups and stews. Minced onion may also be rehydrated in warm water for use in tuna or chicken salads.

Cooking with Granulated Onion
By: Elizabeth Hackett - Kenney, IL Nov 18, 2011
Spices, etc has the finest quality of spices available, and their Granulated Onion is no exception.
If you are unable to digest fresh onions, the granulated will add the flavor for you, without the upset stomach or heartburn. I have not been able to tolerate the fresh onion for many years, and after using Spices, etc Grandulated Onion, I can attest that there is no worry when using this product.
With only a small amount, you can spice up your burgers, steaks, soups, casseroles and vegetables.
Try using Spices, etc Granulated Garlic with the Granuated Onion in your cooking to replace the salt in your recipies. I put away the salt shaker 25 years ago!
