Saffron Rice is a flavorful blend of paprika, turmeric and, of course, saffron. Saffonr is considered the gold herb of the world, great tasting rice....perfect for jambalaya!
Place 1 cup of rice and 1.75 cups of water in a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 5 min. Season as desired and fluff with fork before serving. 1 cup dry yields 2.5-3 cups cooked.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Saffron Rice. I followed the instructions printed on the label and the rice came out fluffy and very delicious! I won't hesitate to buy this rice again. :)

These are ideal for Arroz con Pollo, a dish we fix regularly. We use the on-line Goya recipe. The saffron rice gilds the lily, so to speak.
