We live the Fig Jam. We eat it at breakfast on English Muffins, etc. My wife put the jam into holiday cookies and everyone loved them. We will always try to keep this one in our pantry stock.

My wife and I love the Fig Jam. We love to put it on everything. This past holiday season my wife put the jam in her cookies. It was a big hit. We always keep it in our pantry.

I put it into a jam cake this morning. There just isn't a lot of fig flavor. I tasted some before I added it to the batter. It was nothing I would identify as fig, and I didn't think much of the glutinous texture. Although figs are the first ingredient, sugar and high fructose corn syrup are next (followed by pectin, citric acid, and lemon juice concentrate). I have no idea what the proportions are of each of those, but the sheer sweetness overpowers the fruit. I have another brand here whose ingredients (in order) are: figs, sugar, lemon juice, orange juice, and zest. l like it a lot better.

We love the Fig Preserves. We put it on many things in the morning with our favorite beverages. We always keep one in reserve in our pantry. We never want to run out.
