Saffron, Mancha Superior, Whole Threads

Use for saffron rice and Indian dishes.
  • 1 Ounce Metal Tin
  • $89.95
  • 1 Gram Glass Jar
  • $16.85

A regular grade saffron that you?ll want to use for saffron rice and dishes with complex flavors such as paella. Lovely yellow color and strong flavor and aroma. Priced lower than ever before! Note: One gram of saffron is a pile about the size of a quarter. Since 1/8 tsp will flavor 4 servings of rice, a 1 gram box will last about as long as a standard spice jar of other spices.

SKU: saff

The Garlic Pepper Salt is more on the salty side. I prefer Momma's Steak Seasoning over it. The tin of Saffron is excellent!

This was my second order for saffron. We had never tried it before & with just a pinch adds nice flavor & great look. This definitely dresses up a meal.

Love that Saffron
Feb 12, 2016  |  By Sandra
I make a PA Dutch dish Chicken Potpie with homemade noodles (not the one with a crust). It is to die for. Because people were stealing it, it is usually locked up in the grocery stores. Glad Spices, etc. sold it.

Think Saffron.., think Rice, Poultry, Seafoods. Some veggies may be enhanced in taste also, beyond belief.

Enjoys Paellia
Aug 18, 2014  |  By David
Paellia (Spanish Rice) is good, but you need to dry roast your saffron prior to steeping it. And this product can be stored for almost 2 years. This is good since it takes over 2 weeks to arrive at a US military address. Thank you Spices ETC.

I HAVE NEVER TRIED SAFFRON IN MY LIFE. AT THE PRICE THAT I PURCHASED IT FOR WAS GREAT 9.99 FOR A GRAM AND A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. OVER THE MEMORIAL HOLIDAY I TRIED MY HAND AT MAKING A FISH STEW WITH IT. IT WAS GREAT AND MY FAMILY ALSO LIKE IT.
