I use nutmeg in most of my baking and cooking. Grinding the nutmeg as I use it always assures me of fresh nutmeg and not ground nutmeg that has been sitting in a jar for years or months on a grocery shelf. The grinder is very easy to use. It enables me to grind what I need at a time.
