Marjoram is a member of the mint family, related to basil. The flavor of marjoram blends well with thyme. It should be added near the end of cooking as it tends to lose flavor over heat. Marjoram is used in many Mediterranean dishes, including meats and poultry, stuffings, sausage and in almost any dish using garlic or thyme.

Marjoram is good to have for meats and vegetables. I have also used it on pizza. It is also a good substitute for oregeno. The more flavor the better in my world.
Can't beat the price of this Marjoram

In my area a tiny bottle of marjoram has gone up to almost $5 for 0.2 oz.! Compare that to the price here...$7.80 for a quart! (6 oz.) Why do I need so much marjoram? try this, and you won't ever want to be out! Rice Like Wild: Put all these items in an oven proof pot. ( I use my cast iron dutch oven) 1 diced onion, 1 cup long grain rice, 1 can beef consume, 1 beef bouillon cube, 1 cup boiling water, 1 stick butter, cut in pieces, 1 tablespoon marjoram, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. If you like mushrooms, add 1 jar drained mushrooms. Cover and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. So so good!
