Stock powders are pure dried broth, what you would get if you boiled up meats with no seasonings, skimmed the fat and dried the result. As they are completely unseasoned, they should not be used as a replacement for bouillon. When using these products, know that they will be bland until plenty of salt, sugar and other seasonings are added.
