Ground Turmeric is used commercially to color mustards, butter and cheese. Ground Turmeric culinary uses are best know in the East, particularly India and China. Ground Turmeric is used as a natural yellow coloring for soups and sauces, in rice dishes, and curry. Makes a nice garnish for light colored sauces. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: India.
