Basil Leaf, one of over 40 varieties of basil, the common culinary variety also known as sweet basil, boasts the best flavor. Basil Leaf should be added to hot dishes just before serving, otherwise it tends to lose its flavor. Basil Leaf is a wonderfully versatile herb.
